About the Position: This position located at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Rucker is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville.
This is a TEMPORARY PROMOTION position NTE 24 Months.
This position is a Temporary Promotion that can be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.
Duties
Maintains the administrative guidance provided by requirements and regulations.
Focuses on student records from, resource management, logistics, human resources, and training.
Prepares briefing charts ranging from simple word charts to complex charts with integrated graphics.
Resolves problems in student training, travel, billeting, graduation, etc. by making appropriate recommendation.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Govt issued driver's license to operate a 15-passenger van for student transportation day and night.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Advising on course of action and/or offering recommendations to the staff in dealing with international students involving language, cultural, religious, disciplinary problems, and other sensitive areas. 2) Resolving problems in student training, travel, billeting, graduation, etc. by making appropriate recommendation. 3) Performing duties as a coordinator for international military students.
Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
