About the Position: This position is located at Fort Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.
Duties
Coordinate with civilian and military personnel, all administrative matters in the organization; schedule meetings.
Compose, file, and transmit documents internal and external to the organization.
Maintain organizational calendars.
Answer phone calls, inquiries about administrative function within the organization.
Assist members of the organization with time and attendance, procurement of supplies, and purchase of items/equipment.
Responsible for the review all correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with all policies and directives; collection of data to prepare reports, preparation of reports, file maintenance.

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

Utilizing a government purchase card to purchase supplies and equipment. Preparing and distributing correspondence both internal and external to an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-07.
For outside applicants (i.e., those without current or prior Federal competitive or excepted service Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include: Coordination with civilians and military. Oversee administrative/support to an organization. Managing a supervisor's calendar, scheduling meetings/inviting attendees. Managing Timecards, ensuring their accuracy. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the second lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
