About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Combat Service and Combat Services Support Readiness and Sustainment (R&S) Directorate, matrixed to Project Lead Integration. The referral list(s) generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in other organizations throughout the ILSC in Warren, MI.
Duties
Maintain continuous liaison with concerned personnel to fully coordinate pertinent information relative to assigned programs.
Coordinate efforts with the research and development enterprise, industry, government and academia to programs of record.
Anticipate delays and problem areas, evaluate problems, and recommends/initiate corrective actions.
Serves as the principal point of contact for all technology integration logistics support activities.
Assess technology integration while reducing logistics demands and supporting Army Strategies.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) developing logistical support plans that integrate various logistic functions for system acquisition; 2) coordinating the development of logistics policy, plans, or program of instructions for the Maintenance aspects of Integrated Logistic Support Plans; and 3) evaluating contract language for product support development to ensure quality deliverables that meet program timelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
