You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Infrastructure Business Ops Department, of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will plan, lead, and implement facility and maintenance programs.
You will coordinate with and advise Command Sustainment Restoration and Modernization (SRM) Manager to program and execute future year master plan requirements.
You will ensure maintenance requirements are identified and emerging needs are identified including Facility Alteration and Repair requests (FAR).
You will ensure that team members are knowledgeable on all aspects of facilities, functions they perform in the overall mission of their customers, priorities of those customers, and how to assist them in articulating their facility requirements.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Applying knowledge of facility operations, sustainment, restoration, and modernization of simple and complex facilities; 2) Coordinating with stakeholders and rendering sound decisions to effectively manage the portfolio of facilities; 3) Executing planned, emergent, and strategic facility operations policy, plans, and regulations; 4) Preparing budgets for maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, replacement of existing equipment, or increase in services; 5) Evaluating, enhancing, or developing new services, procedures, and processes to increase program effectiveness.
