You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in the Infrastructure Business Ops Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

Duties

You will coordinate and lead annual project call for work and assist with prioritization of integrated project lists of requirements. You will establish Division goals and employee performance management (STRL) and DPMAP. You will mentor and provide coaching (guidance) to Division employees, and work with employees on personal career development objectives and plans. You will be responsible for the project management oversight of execution of facilities projects supporting Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) Program. You will determine objectives, set priorities, and ensure sound management processes and procedures are in place.

Requirements

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist.
