The Strategy and Architecture Office is seeking an exceptional candidate to serve as an Enterprise Architect (Technology), responsible for assessing strategic and mission requirements to develop and publish enterprise-level Information Technology specifications across the organization to ensure critical business requirements are met.
Duties
Serves as the NASA technology domain enterprise architect providing creation, iteration, and maintenance of enterprise architectures that
embody key principles, methods, and models to describe current/future state aligned to business outcomes.
Analyzes drivers, requirements, and current state capabilities, and applies broad understanding of business strategies and objectives across
operating levels to develop enterprise reference architectures that inform strategic and technical roadmaps.
Identifies and prioritizes critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. Works with key stakeholders to gain
approval and influence adoption of recommendations.
Interprets business goals and drivers, translates business strategy and objectives into an operating model, assesses current capabilities, and
identifies required changes in capabilities.
Leads the establishment, documentation, and maintenance of technology direction and standards for the technology domain, involving all
aspects of networking, cloud and compute, workplace and collaboration and security for enterprise systems.
Captures and prioritizes market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identifies the business benefits of alternative
strategies within the technology domain.
Ensures alignment of program and operational component roadmaps with business strategies, enterprise transformation activities, and
technology directions.
Works closely with NASA's Enterprise Architects, OCIO’s Agency Level Offices and Service Lines, and Mission operations teams to ensure
acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with technology architecture guidelines.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:
Developing and communicating authoritative enterprise architectures that address requirements and align to an organization's mission and business outcomes;
Developing technology and capability roadmaps, identifying gaps, overlaps, dependencies and risks, building long-term coherence for enterprise systems;
Developing strategy and enterprise architectures for network systems, data center optimization, and workplace and collaboration systems.
AND
You MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
