Duties
Troubleshoot and resolve queue and interface efforts in SAP EWM, TM, and ECC to ensure smooth system operations and data flows.
Monitor SAP queues in real-time, identifying and prioritizing errors for resolution to minimize system downtime and maintain operational workflows
Analyze and debug queue failures, determining root causes and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues and enhance system stability.
Collaborate with end-users and functional analysts to define and fully understand customer needs, ensuring that all technical requirements are feasible and complete.
Utilize tools such as SAP, ServiceNow, ABAP, HTML5, JavaScript/APIs, and other programing languages to develop and implement solutions that address user requirements and resolve system issues.
Provide expert advice on the impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies related to software development decisions, including queue management, designs, and specifications.
Work closely with system design teams and information system analysts to trouble shoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data interfaces and system performance.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and efficient data movement between systems.
Ensure smooth transitions of software solutions to designated support sites, adhering to established standards, policies, and regulations
Apply internal quality assurance and configuration management practices to ensure the effective design and development of technically complex applications and subsystems.
Design applications and solutions that align with the established security and privacy standards.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (APPSW/OS), your resume and supporting documentation must include:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Analyze, evaluate, develop, test, implement, modify, and maintain code using SAP/ABAP, ServiceNow, HTML5, and JavaScript.
Evaluate management and user requirements, analyze interrelationships, develop effective design approaches, test new revised systems, applications and processes and develop procedural instruction in the implementation and operation of new/revised system changes.
Define and document system operational concepts, system wide design decisions, system architectural design; and create user documentation.
Coordinates with other AIS project personnel and computer specialists in developing data and executing a comprehensive test plan and analyze and document test results.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
