Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of the Manager and more experienced analyst. Assists in providing administrative support to management during the planning, developing, monitoring, and executing actions required to manage the office administrative functions including all or several of the following areas: position management, travel, management information systems, logistics, training, and overall office management.
Duties
Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of the Manager and more experienced analyst. Assists in providing administrative support to management during the planning, developing, monitoring, and executing actions required to manage the office administrative functions including all or several of the following areas: position management, travel, management information systems, logistics, procurement, training, and overall office management. Procures office supplies, equipment, training, and services as needed. Coordinates workplace logistics, such as workspaces, computers/laptops, requests for phone services and wireless devices, finalizing move dates, and other office logistics. Assists in providing notification to the Union. Provides guidance to less experienced staff in the day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in problem solving, researching, analyzing, and interpreting laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures related to the various functions, providing comprehensive customer service support on human capital management functions including position management and workforce planning.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
