You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SENIOR ENGINEER TECH) in the Requirements branch (PRP11) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will analyze project performance data to identify improvements in production operations. You will discuss production specifications (e.g., work definition, pricing, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation) with customers. You will develop project technical documents (e.g., cost estimates, bills of material, production processes, production schedule) to meet projects goals You will collect and analyze financial and performance measurement control (PMC) data on assigned projects.

Requirements

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • NAVFAC MIDLANT is a regionalized command. The incumbent serving in this position may at any time be reassigned to a similar position at any site or workstation within the commuting area as s condition of employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing work, projects, or operations and tracking processes and recommending process improvements; 2) Scheduling/planning work based upon given priorities, manpower and capabilities; 3) Utilizing business application systems for data entry and extraction (e.g. Microsoft Office, MAXIMO, Computer Maintenance Management Systems, etc.); and 4) Updating customers on work progress and timelines.
