You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the Waterfront Operations Department, Small Craft & Unmanned Division
of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.
Duties
You will schedule and chair meetings and conferences.
You will coordinate and administer assigned repair work.
You will manage/ monitor multiple contract vehicles (i.e. fixed price, cost type, indefinite delivery, time, and material.
You will serve on surveys for bidder proposals of contracts and analyze proposals.
You will maintain status of actual project funds.
You will perform periodic funds status reports.
You will prepare smooth detailed messages, emails, letters, memoranda, and correspondence reports. Detailing planning, repair work, cost, technical problems, and etc.
You will resolve issues with cost, quality, schedule, and performance.
You will monitor and highlight to superiors and quality assurance personnel any unsatisfactory trends in contractor non-compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience preventing unauthorized ship modifications/alterations during availability.
Experience performing quality audits of work specification packages.
Experience monitoring the progression of work to minimize delays.
Experience assisting in negotiation of contract modifications, work schedules, and time requirements.
Experience maintaining funds and ensuring that funds are available to cover availabilities and obligations.
