Duties

You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER in the DATA ANALYST (CODE 372), PROJECT MGMT OVERSIGHT (CODE 370), WATERFRONT OPERATIONS (CODE 300), NORFOLK, VA. You will schedule key milestones for both advanced planning and execution efforts of ship repair projects. You will develop, analyze, and evaluate risks associated with schedules, team manning, port loading, logistics, integration and other factors. You will be responsible for the control, management and accuracy of the Command's Availability Management information System for all availabilities. You will provide in-depth, analytical services directly in support of all projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Experience planning, contract administration, procurement regulations, and applying knowledge of all the contract technical aspects involved all the repair and overhaul of U.S. Navy ships and craft. Experience with funds management and accounting procedures promulgated by NAVCOMPT manuals to avoid misappropriation of funds. Experience preventing or alleviating planning delays, scheduling conflicts, and material problems. Experience grasping a wide range of pertinent data and evaluate the various problems associated with ship overhaul and modernization process. Experience with ship repair, overhaul and management methods, practices and problems. Experience evaluating technical and complex problem areas in ship repair.
