You will serve as a Program Support Assistant (OA) in the Human Capital Management Staff of the Command Services Department (N1HC) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Duties
You will coordinate, schedule, and ensure compliance with pre-employment requirements, including physical examinations, drug testing, and pre-appointment security checks.
You will assist Liaison with employee check-in-processes by downloading and preparing check-in paperwork for new employees.
You will track metrics for all Recruit/Fill RPA's (Internal and External), across the Command.
You will ensure applicable documents and records related to the pre-employment process are properly maintained.
You will provide clerical support to the Command Services Department and the NAVOCEANO Human Capital Liaisons.
Requirements
- This is a bargaining unit position.

- This position may require travel occasional travel.
Qualifications
For GS- 06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Resume must demonstrate the following specialized experience:
Experience completing pre-employment screenings and onboarding for prospective employees selected for new positions/or promotions.
Experience completing pre-employment screenings, physical examinations, drug testing, and pre-appointment security checks.
Experience facilitating the recruitment process from Tentative job offer to Final Job Offer including the check-in process for new Federal employees.
Experience updating reports, tracking metrics, and identifying potential issues related to the recruitments screening process.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
