You will serve as a PROGRAM ASSISTANT in the U.S. Fleet Forces Command of NAV METEOROLOGY AND OCEANOGRAPHIC CMD.
Duties
You will provide support to Security, Facilities, Human Resources, Manpower, and Training Programs.
You will prepare and process all incoming visitor request.
You will perform a qualify assurance review to ensure the security clearance information is correct, and validates with the Security Manager the information contained on the visor request.
You will use standard word processing software, preparing correspondence and reports from handwritten drafts into proper format, correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in security protocols when escorting visitors;
Experience in basic administrative functions such as email, MS Suite (office, excel); and
Experience recognizing security and safety situations that require immediate attention.
