Duties
Serves as a supply systems analyst, responsible for business process and information technology (IT) analysis supporting Systems Application and Products (SAP) Industry Solution (IS) Oil and Gas sustainment for the Inventory Accountability Division.
Executes program management control over assigned Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) and intersystem databases.
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves issues with suspended inventory transactions within SAP IS Oil and Gas, EBS and other inventory systems.
Provides recommendations and technical assistance across functional areas and DLA Energy Business Units to resolve findings related to product quantity, transportation, and inventory supply systems transactional discrepancies and corrections.
Supports the testing, standardization, and integration of Systems Application and Products (SAP) Industry Solution (IS) Oil and Gas Programs and processes.
Maintains and interprets policy and procedure documents for management and serves as the Principal Analysts for the system requirements, and implementation.
Represents DLA Energy FENA on inventory accountability supply system matters, conducts briefings on systems development and other areas related to data automation.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Analyzing transactional errors and supply chain system data.
Overseeing process interrelationships, transaction investigations, billing data, that pertain to the supply chain system transaction processes and recommend process improvements.
Performing detailed analysis utilizing data from automated supply systems (i.e. Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), etc.).
Recommending changes on supply chain system process, including system changes or other process improvements - Providing guidance regarding automated system functionality and business capabilities.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
