You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (C800), Financial Services Division (C830) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will serve as the organizational database manager for the Defense Travel System (DTS).
You will serve as the NDEA Agent responsible for creating travel orders, making all travel arrangements, and processing all travel claims/ vouchers for all civilian and military personnel within the Command and NRMD.
You will analyze, interpret, and apply extensive and complex laws, regulations, Comptroller General Decisions, Agency Directives, and command policies regarding civilian and military travel.
You will provide senior management with advice and guidance regarding travel laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, section 1599d. This certification level must be achieved within prescribed timelines.
Qualifications
GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and applying laws, regulations, Comptroller General Decisions, agency directives, and Command policies regarding federal travel and civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders.
Experience using travel systems such as: Defense Travel Systems (DTS) in order to make travel arrangements, create travel authorizations/orders, and process travel claims.
Experience in making complex travel arrangements outside of travel systems for foreign travel where commercial flights are prohibited.
Experience with foreign travel laws and regulations.
Experience in creating, processing, and issuing civilian Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders and processing PCS claims.
Experience in managing travel cards such as: the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) program.
Experience in managing travel card delinquencies and misuse of travel card.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
