You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Financial Management Division (SPK 13) in the Operations Management Department (SPK10) at Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT).
Duties
You will monitor, utilize, and maintain functionality on a comprehensive and integrated financial management system, which includes budgeting, financial planning, accounting, auditing, and fiscal reporting.
You will produce timely and accurate financial data to be used by other employees, Comptroller, Commanding Officer, senior managers, and other personnel in the direction, evaluation, and control of operations throughout the Command.
You will assist in multiple aspects of financial management to include conducting property inventories, researching charges, correcting issues, and meeting with command personnel to discuss budgetary planning and execution.
You will validate lines of accounting (LOAs) on training, travel, and funding documents.
You will analyze all data produced from multiple financial systems and report to the Comptroller and various program managers in order to obtain a complete perspective of the Command's financial situation.
You will use pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources for Strategic Weapons Facility, Atlantic (SWFLANT) programs.
You will prepare corrections for incorrect data associated with labor, materials, and contract procurement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-01 or grade level (GS-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Applying a wide range of standard financial practices and procedures to compile, analyze, and summarize financial information.
