You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT (C800), ACCOUNTING DIVISION (C820) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will use a government accounting system in order to record financial transactions, make adjusting entries in the accounting system to financial records and correct erroneous accounting conditions.
You will analyze invalid transactions and correct invalid accounting conditions such as unmatched disbursements, abnormal accounts payables, negative unliquidated obligations, interface file errors.
You will use Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system to certify and pay invoices from vendors for federal contracts.
You will analyze a large volume of financial data and determining the impact on financial status.
You will review and approve credit card requisitions to ensure compliance with appropriation law and NAVSUP directives and policies.
You will serve as lead training instructor for all ·new personnel reporting to the Accounting Division.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position requires an FM- LEVEL II.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Mgmt. Level (2) certified position per the NOAA of 2012 Section 1599d. This certification must be achieved within the prescribed timelines.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience using financial or management systems to research, extract, and analyze financial data. Develop financial reports for various accounts. Experience approving Government Credit Card transactions. Experience of DOD Financial Management Rules and Regulations. Experience in training and developing junior personnel. Experience entering contract award data and issuing to vendors and businesses a wide variety of federal contracts and procurement actions.
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience assisting higher graded employees in the use of financial or management systems to research, extract, and analyze financial data, developing financial reports for various accounts, approving Government Credit Card transactions, experience in the field of applying DOD Financial Management Rules and Regulations and entering contract award data and issuing to vendors and businesses a wide variety of federal contracts and procurement actions.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11 ONLY:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
Equivalent combinations of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
