Duties
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Section (SPK13) of the Operations Department (SPK10) at the Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic (SWFLANT) Field Activity of Strategic Systems Programs.
You will works with the Comptroller and Supervisory Financial Management Analysts on financial programs development and execution to ensure the balance between financial requirements and available resources with minimum costs and maximum efficiency.
You will be responsible for input and analysis of data to assist the Comptroller in developing, implementing, and maintaining multiple programs.
You will monitor, utilize, and maintain functionality on a comprehensive and integrated financial management system, including budgeting, financial planning, accounting, auditing, and fiscal reporting that produces timely and accurate financial data.
You will be responsible for analyzing all data produced from multiple financial systems and reporting to the Comptroller and various program managers in order to obtain a complete perspective of the Command's financial situation.
You will be required to meet and confer both formally and informally, with various SWFLANT, SSP, and external personnel to convey the decisions on financial resources based on the analytics obtained from the operating programs data.
You will make rational adjustments and changes to financial plans as a result of frequent changes in resources and/or the Command's mission, operating programs, and workload with little or no advance notice.
You will serve as an active member of SWFLANT'S financial team and actively participates with personnel in a wide variety of meetings related to the Commands mission and operating programs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least three year of progressively responsible general experience, one of which is equivalent to the NH-01 pay band (GS-04 Equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively orally and in writing.

Education
Education may be substituted for specialized experience as follows:
Completion of a 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to three years of progressively responsible experience.
