You will serve as a Hard Target Strategies C4ISR SME at the GG-14 grade level for the Hard Target Strategies Division (HT), responsible for advising, reviewing, compiling, organizing, monitoring, analyzing and reporting on specific projects and campaigns across DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop, guide, support and contribute to hard target initiatives directed toward the Navy's highest priorities.
Duties
You will apply advanced knowledge from a diverse range of concepts, principles, and techniques in multiple fields of the intelligence profession.
You will provide analysis and collection expertise to develop comprehensive action plans that deliver required technical insights, recommendations, and details that can be utilized in decision-making.
You will utilize expertise in assessing maritime and C4ISR capabilities to inform Navy and Service partner stakeholder decisions.
You will develop detailed accountable and holistic strategies to close intelligence gaps that inform key Navy, Service, and DoD investments and support theater operations.
You will maintain awareness and collaborate with each service to understand critical intelligence requirements and focus projects on the most stressing needs and challenges.
You will research and draft position papers and abstracts on key issues.

You will develop and coordinate HT correspondence/communication for executive level customers that convey key assessments, outcomes, and recommendations.
You will develop and contribute to hard target strategies for the Navys highest priority issues as identified by the Director of Hard Target Strategies.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trial Period.
- This position may require a Polygraph examination.
- PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:

Analyzing and reporting on specific projects and campaigns to develop, guide, support, and contribute to hard target initiatives directed towards the highest intelligence priorities.
