You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.

Duties

You will provide review/audit functions of all classification work submitted by the HRO. You will provide technical advice and oversight in the administration of the full range of classification actions. You will provide initial and refresher training for new and/or newly appointed employees and work closely with them to review their work. You will provide input regarding potential changes to Classification Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policy and desk guide updates. You will develop and coordinate group training for trainees and other specialists. You will develop, review, edit and as required, revise position descriptions to ensure adequacy along with assignment of proper factor level descriptions and organization assignments, and overlapping duties.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying advanced HR position classification principles, concepts, and practices, including position management and organizational design, independently planning, organizing, and conducting classification projects, including research of complex HR problems, development, implementation and administration of an Enterprise-wide Human Resources (HR) Program, providing oversight on policies and programs encompassing Recruitment, Staffing and Placement, Position Classification and Position Management, Labor and Employee Relations, Health and Wellness, the Drug Free Workplace Program and Civilian Personnel Data Systems Management. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Researches and analyzes data for HR Programs to identify issues and obstacles followed by proposed recommendations; 2) Leads a group of team members to complete project or complex HR tasks; 3) Trains lower-level HR Specialists on the classification operations; 4) Develops and delivers presentations on HR related subjects to educate customers and; 5) Develops standard operating procedures, process documents and/or job aides to provide guidance and support HR operations.
