You will serve as a Lead Human Resources (HR) Specialist for the Satellite HRO at Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN) in Mechanicsburg, PA for NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will develop communication methods and counseling procedures to maintain effective relations between management and the workforce.
You will assist the Branch Head in the development and delivery of policy/guidance.
You will perform and coordinate work in Recruitment and Outreach, Staffing and Classification, Labor and Employee Relations, and Workforce Development.
You will defend and support his or her ideas and proposals both with the activity and at higher echelons.
You will resolve complicated problems affecting Human Resources programs and proposes options and recommendations.
You will provide technical support on regulatory requirements for successfully managing Human Resource programs.
You will serve as the team lead for the Satellite Human Resource Office.
You will direct the work of lower level specialists who, on a task team basis, may be involved in performing segments of the overall project task under the specialist's cognizance.
You will prepare technical guidance and training for Human Resource Specialists.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-0201-04 (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: providing HR program technical support to prepare guidance, and deliver training on Human Resources programs for the resolution of HR challenges, in support of organizational workforce strategies.
