About the Position: This position is with Defense Health Network Indo-Pacific located on the campus of Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Duties
Provide health system expertise on health care programs and policies.
Serve as advisor to management and as a principal representative to healthcare and business optimization.
Provide professional administrative support and expertise to administrators to increase the efficiency, productivity, and quality of care of clinical operations.
Lead and/or design multi-faceted projects that involve productivity and quality improvement, manpower, organizational, cost analysis, business case analysis, and related activities.
Initiate changes to policies, programs and systems based upon evaluation to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Analyze administrative and clinical delivery systems to develop strategic focus for management team decisions.
Ensure that all administrative and clinical programs and policies are integrated and settles any disputes which may arise.
Recommend strategies and initiates changes in policies, procedures, and protocols to improve beneficiary access to care.
Identify problems with healthcare access and utilization in both the military and civilian sectors and recommends alternatives to overcome these difficulties.
Provide technical advice and assistance to clinical and administrative department chiefs on all health program functions within their departments.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Performing data analysis to identify trends and develop solutions to complex program management issues to support Access to Care in the optimization of health care services; 2) Overseeing the execution of special projects and programs by providing recommendations to decision making authorities; 3) Defining requirements for effective analysis of health system programs and policies; and 4) Advising on technical and administrative oversight for clinical administrators. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
