Duties

Independently performs tasks involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports. Independently performs a variety of budgetary, administrative, and statistical functions to support budget. Provides technical advice and support to DTS users at the Garrison. Serves as the subject matter expert for correcting problems or errors with authorization/vouchers in DTS. Reviews a variety of reports to detect fraud, waste and abuse and extracts and analyzes data to support statistical analysis. Analyzes program tendencies and spending trends and recommends alternatives to include realigning of funds between object classes. Communicates updates on DTS system updates/issues and changes, guidance, local policies, and procedures. Serves as liaison between program managers and their representatives and other staff offices impacting upon the installation budget.

• Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 10% of the time.
• This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
