Duties
You will plan and schedule duties required to maintain a professional Information, Tickets and Travel Section.
You will be responsible for temporary staff, such as contractors and volunteer assistants, used during trips.
You will serve as supervisor/director of the Information, Ticket and Travel.
You will plan, publicize, organize and administers a diversified and comprehensive program of tours.
You will assist patrons in planning trips, vacations and leisure time by providing information on places of interest, lodging, restaurants and routes of travel to include airfare, train and cruises.
You will make contact with commercial organizations concerning discount prices, coupons, tickets, hotel accommodations, airlines and charter bus companies for the best price for quality services
You will maintain accurate financial reports, inventory and daily paperwork.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, organizing and administering a comprehensive Information, Ticket and Travel within the Food and Business Operations. Examples of specialized experience: assisting patrons with the planning of trips and obtaining the lowest available price for quality services such as hotels, transportation and tickets.
