You will serve as a Aircraft Data Technician in the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Department, Operations Support Division, of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Duties

You will assist in developing and maintaining training jackets and Individual Development Plans for other teammates and process training requests for engineers, technicians, and program analysts to maintain certifications and develop professionally. You will locate and apply regulations material to ensure correctness of correspondence (e.g., check correspondence for form, arrangement, margins, enclosures, styles). You will arrange conference and meeting details (e.g., location, scheduling, agenda, attendance list).

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1) Perform routine and specialized tasks to aid Planner and Estimators in workload induction and closeout duties. 2) Conduct preliminary screening, updating and closeout of records and determine accuracy and completeness. 3) Analyze the completed work documents involved with standard and/ or special repairs and overhaul. 4) Compile and prepare various written reports on aircraft and equipment status.
