You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the LCS Mission Module Program Office (PMS 420) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS.
Duties
You will review execution documents/reports using available financial management systems (e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)).
You will prepare data for presentations or reports on financial goals, objectives, and information to meet programmatic, budgetary, management initiatives, and directives.
You will perform budget planning and related execution tasks, analyze various program requirements, and make recommendations on the allocation and execution of funds.
You will analyze and develop budget exhibits and budget justifications, including developing reclamas/issue papers to program budget marks.
You will process funding execution documents using appropriate financial management systems.
You will monitor obligations and expenditures, ensuring financial accounts are balanced against plans and established benchmarks.
You will analyze proposed budget changes, prior to and in the year of execution, and make recommendations to accommodate budget changes.
You will assist in the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM).

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing financial and budgetary data to make recommendations on the allocation of funds to management in support of Ship Programs.
