About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Industrial Base Operations and Maintenace Integration Directorate, Major Item Support - Lead Materiel Integration (MIS-LMI) team. Formally known as the Fleet Management Support Team (FMST).

Duties

Plans, coordinates, markets, and reviews assigned areas of the logistics program, which encompass the width and breadth of the Major Item and Fleet Management processes. Manages assignments by insuring that the functional stakeholders plan, program, budget, report and execute their respective portions of the assigned Major Item and Fleet Management program. Creates, designs and develops plans and coordinates, manages, and reviews assigned areas of the logistics program. Provides assistance to major items managers in regards to Major Item and Fleet Management and maintains a working knowledge of supply management functions from initial procurement through the life cycle to disposal of the supplies and equipment. Recommends changes or adjustments to planning documents as necessary and recommends approval as appropriate or indicates required changes.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
