Duties
Provides senior level support to assigned Enterprise level applications supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Serves as expert IT Systems Administrator for local Agency and Enterprise level system software with assigned program environments working in direct support of the organization’s strategic plan and mission.
Administers one or more assigned non-SAP core suite applications and ancillary components.
Coordinates with the Chief and other senior/lead application specialist to provide interchangeable senior level support to all area managed non-SAP core suite applications and ancillary components.
As senior IT specialist, configure, install, and manage applications for DLA ERP Non-SAP core suite applications.

Serves as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR)/Technical Point of Contact (TPOC).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Configures, installs, and manages application components and/or bolt-ons for enterprise resource suite applications and provides senior level support for enterprise-level applications.
Gathers and analyzes data required to approximate hardware required for software implementation
Evaluates system performance and identified preventative measures and/or problem areas by troubleshooting performance issues and modifying application operation.
Develops, plans and schedules, estimating project and special assignment resource requirements, defining milestones and deliverables, monitoring activities, and evaluating and reporting on accomplishments.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
