About the Position: The programs objective is to protect the Army's information, networks, facilities and personnel by enhancing the Army's ability to deter, detect and mitigate insider threats. The Insider Threat Hub serves as the Army's centralized insider threat analysis, reporting, and response capability; uniquely organized with capability and capacity to provide timely insider threat information and risk-based analytic support to protect the Army.
Duties
Develop insider threat risk mitigation options for Army senior leadership regarding matters for potential Army enterprise-level implementation.
Generate insider threat risk mitigation options for Army senior leadership regarding matters for potential Army enterprise-level implementation.
Participate in and represents the Insider Threat Operations Branch as directed at various National, DoD, and Army forums and working groups.
Develop risk assessment methodology and risk priorities for utilization by the Security Management Cell to guide the production of insider threat referrals
Create procedures and processes to track and disseminate information as it relates to insider threat related incidents and referrals.
Identify potential risk reduction and/or control measures based on applicable regulations and best practices.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes develop procedures to track information relating to insider threat connected incidents; utilize risk management best practices to assess risk priority; and provide timely reporting of insider threat information to enable effective response. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
