You will serve as a GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT FORCE ANALYST in the Division of Plans and Operations (South) Detachment of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will serve as a principal source of expertise and continuity for the Force and Sourcing Officer. You will provide process improvement and sustainment support to the GFM/Force Analysis Division. You will assist the GFM division with the development, analysis and staffing of Marine Corps responses. You will assist in the development of global sourcing solutions from all U.S. Marine Corps forces and capabilities. You will assist in establishing policy and procedures.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing the Command's efforts associated with Global Force Management (GFM) to provide planning expertise across the full spectrum of deliberate and contingency planning (e.g. force analysis, sourcing, management, readiness, deployment and redeployment).
