Duties

Analyzing Workforce Data: Collecting and interpreting data related to workforce size, composition, and productivity. Developing Manpower Plans: Creating plans to ensure the organization has the right number of employees with the necessary skills. Policy Implementation: Ensuring that manpower policies are effectively implemented and adhered to. Reporting: Preparing detailed reports on manpower statistics and trends. Collaboration: Working with other departments to align manpower needs with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes collecting and interpreting data related to workforce size and composition, reviewing and developing manpower policies to effectively manage organizational manpower requirements and ensure compliance, preparing reports on manpower statistics and trends, and working with other departments to align manpower needs with organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Organizational AwarenessOrganizational Performance AnalysisPlanning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
