About the Position: Serves as a senior management and program analyst of the Public Works Business Operations Work/Financial Management functional area in a Two-Star equivalent headquarters with oversight over eleven Forces Command, five Reserve Command, and one ATEC garrison's Public Works business operations. Applies professional data analysis principles to Public Works (PW) management, Engineering management systems, TDA Manpower and Equipment.

Duties

Applies professional data analysis principles to Public Works (PW) management and work flow processes, Engineering management systems, TDA Manpower and Equipment, and the resource programming and allocation process. Provides oversight of DPW work/financial management operations for all 17 garrisons as assigned to IMCOM-Readiness. Maintains liaison with AMC through IMCOM and coordinates daily with the supported ACOM (FORSCOM) regarding business process. Conducts the annual review of the IMCOM-Readiness garrison Annual Work Plans (AWPs), which consists of approximately $850M-$1Billion of sustainment funding. Participates in staff assistance visits and provides performance oversight of PW Business Operations /work management processes at installations. Stays abreast of the latest regulations and policies affecting assigned area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position may require the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station approximately 25% of the time.
  • This position requires a 1-year Supervisory Probationary period.
