Duties
You will apply information systems security principles, policies, and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility.

Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to sign a mobility agreement to accept relocation to other geographic locations if required by the employer.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring IT awareness and compliance throughout an organization; 2) Assisting with the development of solutions to cybersecurity issues; 3) Solving IT and Info Security problems; and 4) Conducting vulnerability scans to detect weakness in systems.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

3. Oral Communication
4. Problem Solving

Education
In lieu of the specialized experience listed above, applicants must meet the following positive education requirements:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
