About the Position: Provides support to the Medical Readiness Command (MRC) and subordinate units in executing the core mission by optimizing resources and civilian human capital while improving the recruitment and retention of personnel across the MRC.
Duties
Assists in administering the civilian human resources (HR) program in the functional areas of position management and classification, recruitment and placement, performance management and appraisal program, labor management and employee relations.
Assists in administering the civilian human resources (HR) program in the functional areas of incentive awards, human resources development, priority placement program (PPP), MEDCOM Placement Program (MP2).
Assists in administering the civilian human resources (HR) program in the functional areas of workers’ compensation under the Federal Employees Compensation Act.
Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- Up to 10% TDY may be required.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying human resources management concepts, policies, and practices; identifying human resources problems; and recommending solutions to resolve human resources issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
