You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Mission Aligned Organization (MAO) Workforce Management and Development Team of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties

You will coordinate local administrative, operational and human resource policies and process. You will conduct a wide-range of qualitative and/or quantitative analysis of administrative, operational and organizational policies, processes and programs in order to assess their effectiveness in meeting the goals and objectives. You will recommend improvements and/or solutions to administrative or operational management problems based on analysis or studies conducted. You will provide management analyst support and expertise to the Workforce Management and Development Team supervisor. You will serve as coach, mentor, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among members. You will research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve OPS team staff effectiveness, efficiency and work products.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Ability to assist management with preparation and classification of Position Descriptions. 2.) Ability to provide guidance to management on matters regarding position management. 3.) Ability to research and interpret personnel-related policies, laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
