You will serve as a
SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MARINE FORCE STORAGE COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignment, and the capabilities of employees.
You will plan and schedule ongoing production-oriented work on a quarterly and annual basis, or directs assignments of similar duration.
You will review work methods and procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness.
You will develop performance standards, evaluates work performance of subordinates and recommends performance awards as appropriate.
You will coordinate and integrate contractor work schedules and processes with work of subordinates or others.
You will identify developmental and training needs of employees and provides for and/or arranges needed development and training.
You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.
You will recommend requirement policy/procedure changes or other corrective actions based on a comprehensive evaluation of analysis findings.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position requires which requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to review, interpret, develop and produce Performance Work Statements, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Determination & Findings (D&F) and Justification & Approval (J&A); Knowledge of the various surveillance types used to assess contractor performance and provide a comprehensive report outlining strengths and weaknesses with recommended solutions for corrective action; Knowledge of the various systems and applications used when performing COR functions (SPOT, CORT, CPARS, WAWF) and Knowledge of appropriation laws to ensure compliance with financial regulations
