Duties
You will delegate managerial and supervisory authorities and responsibilities.
You will provide technical and administrative direction of the work force to maintain an effective, efficient and economical organization, and operative work program.
You will establish work priorities and deadlines, assigns special projects, and modifies operating procedures.
You will review work in progress, advises, counsels, and assigns functional responsibilities to subordinates and assesses job performance in terms of mission and accomplishment of attainment of LOGCOM goals.
You will develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
You will determine material resources, i.e. facilities, equipment, and supplies required to accomplish the mission.
You will direct and coordinate operations and staff activities to ensure management objectives and operational requirements are met.
You will ensure activities are effectively integrated into a team effort coordinated with other parallel and senior organizations supporting maintenance of all Marine Corps ground equipment.
You will review formulation of budget or contract requirements required to provide maintenance support for the Weapons Systems Management Center.
You will represent the Marine Corps by serving as the Maintenance Inter-Service Support Management Officer (MISMO).
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position requires which requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: possess comprehensive knowledge of the Joint Depot Maintenance (JDM) Program and the United States Marine Corps' Enterprise Level Maintenance Process; possess comprehensive knowledge on the functions and operations of a Maintenance Intra-Service Management Office (MISMO). Must possess experience in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process.
