Duties
You will serve as a principal subject-matter-expert (SME) and instructor for both legacy and future replacement of logistics systems, and act as an advisor to Logistics Command leadership and system users.
You will conduct research, data mining, and analysis, and course of action development to assist in the advance and implementation of Marine Corps enterprise-wide, as well as local command, logistics management system modernization initiatives.
You will ensure compliance with policies and milestones associated with user training requirements for logistics systems used within Marine Corps Logistics Command.
You will formulate training plans and remains abreast of current Marine Corps logistics systems, technologies and trends.
You will serve as a team lead/senior specialist in directing logistics personnel involved in planning for new and emerging logistics systems and processes.
You will employ a comprehensive understanding of the Marine Corps Logistics Command mission, function, programs, command structures, and logistics support relationships.
You will provide high level managers and military planners with background information, planning rationales, and alternatives.
You will employ a comprehensive understanding of current Marine Corps logistics support systems that will enable the effective teaching of new Marine Corps logistics systems and processes replacing legacy systems.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in the system life cycle development process to include agile development and government acceptance testing is required; Fundamental understanding of information technology problem solving steps and Briefs and justifies complex logistics processes to top-level management.
