You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide direct support to exercises and contingency operations, war planning, continuity of operations, plan management and naval logistics integration coordination in support of MARCORLOGCOM's current mission.
You will provide operational doctrine, Service level logistics planning, command strategic planning and will identify and resolve Fleet Marine Force (FMF) inventory posture and equipment readiness issues.
You will participate in financial planning impacting 12 major service commands, assisting with prioritizing current budget year unfunded requirements and recommending the allocation or re-allocation of funds when required.
You will monitor equipment and material health utilizing systems of record/information technology systems, provide trend analysis, recommending solutions to negative trends in equipment and material readiness.
You will provide fiscal, contractual, administrative, training, safety, material and personnel resources in support of command forces deployed and in garrison in order to facilitate accomplishment of the assigned mission.
You will lead special task forces/projects to address current and future logistics planning and execution.
You will conduct analyses and assessment and generate and develop initiatives to support the Commanding General's Strategic Vision.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is considered Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- You will be required to be recalled to duty as it is a regular requirement of this position.
- You may be required to travel into and out of combat zones in the performance of duties in support of contingency operations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, directing, implementing and supervising all matters pertaining to the execution of Logistics Command's current operations, near term future operations, and long-range future plans.
