Duties
Provides guidance on the development and implementation of modernization capabilities within the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) program office.
Serves as an Information technology (IT) specialist responsible for project management to include the development and implementation of assigned project initiatives.
Articulates and provides management of the systems integration of modernization initiatives that support DLA DAAS transformation and modernization.
Advisor to program leadership preforming the role of a principle project manager for the introduction of new projects and technologies/information systems....
...to meet function requirements of DLA, to include determining their relationship/interface with present/future capabilities.
Responsible for providing acquisition process management services to include management and oversight of major automated information systems and other designated systems.
Responsible to prepare, review, and submit acquisition documents.
Provides direction and guidance for the acquisition, design, programming, testing, systems, integration, product improvement...

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Program Manager (PLCYPLN) your resume and supporting documentation must include:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including Time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), Time-after-competitive appointment, minimum quali?cations, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-o?/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Performs expert level skills in IT concepts, principles, and practices to plan, direct, and evaluate projects for Automated Information Systems.
Applies analytical theories, principles, concepts, methods, and techniques related to mathematical and statistical analysis to formulate and conduct studies and analysis
Possesses extensive experience in test and evaluation techniques; large-scale software deployments; and system development life-cycles.
Plans and coordinates e?orts of government and contractors involved in development, technology advancements, upgrades, design, and/or developmental engineering of logistics software applications.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
