DCSA is looking for a Staff Officer in Staffing, Recruitment, and Position Management who will be responsible for performing and coordinating initiatives and projects including strategic development, goal planning, process and system improvement, operations, production, quality assurance and control, performance metrics, and strategic communications and be responsible for administrative support for contracts, budget, and resource considerations, and agency and office level taskers.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Program/project management concepts, principles, practices to include the application of fact-finding and problem-solving techniques. Direct use of analytical and evaluative techniques, methods, and tools to conduct assessments of program performance. Experience administering short and long-range plans and projects to satisfy specific requirements and/or accommodate multiple needs. Advanced experience providing administrative support towards business operations related to contracts, budget, and resource considerations for the Division. Experience creating and presenting briefings for various levels of leadership related to hiring updates, trends, and fill rates.
