You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the SUSTAINMENT GROUP/AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCE ANALYSIS DEPT/LOGISTICS & MAINT & TECHNOLOGY DIV/REQUIREMENTS BRANCH
of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will collect, understand and document initial customer requirements in support of concept development with guidance.
You will participate in Requirements Reviews and working groups with guidance.
You will manage priorities/risks/issues across Working Group with guidance.
You will identify and record risks, mitigation strategies and issues associated with applications within their Working Group with guidance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
To Qualify for the DS-03:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (DS-02=GS 05-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following: 1Experience assisting in developing, documenting, and implementing processes; assisting in evaluating and reporting on contractor configuration and data management systems; 2) knowledge of configuration management processes, procedures, products, and tools; 3)utilizing software programs for managing technical data products and maintaining accurate records;4) performing configuration and data management; 5) experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excell, PowerPoint.
To Qualify for the DS-02
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DS-01=GS 1-4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; 2) Planning and organizing work; and 3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.
