You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Repair and Overhaul Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will be responsible for the training and development of assigned personnel as well as all supervisory tasks described within this position description and those that may be assigned.
You will lead and coordinate all facets of weapons maintenance planning and execution requirements, including asset identification, shipping, acquisition, and funding, as directed by the applicable PMA/ISEA weapons program leadership.
You will ensure all designated personnel are properly trained and qualified to safely and effectively perform all aspects of weapons maintenance, as applicable, in accordance with (IAW) governing directives.
You will ensure widest dissemination of all pertinent correspondence to assigned personnel, as applicable.
You will coordinate integrated logistics support (ILS) for applicable weapons systems/equipment, developing qualitative and quantitative analysis to substantiate logistics support policies, procedures, and concepts in support of weapons maintenance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Utilizing Ordnance Inventory System - Retail/Wholesale (OIS-R/W) software applications; (2) Performing work related to the use of Contracts, Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE), Statements of Work (SOW) and the Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) process; (3) Writing and Speaking, concisely and authoritatively, to report on progress and outcome of technical assignments and to present recommendations; (4) Repairing Joint Defense Ammunition (JDAM), Guided Bomb Unit (GBU), Weapons Containers, Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE), and multiple types of Munition Handling Equipment (MHE); and (5) Performing work related to Optimize Performance Model (OPOM) process, Fiscal Year Defense Plan (FYDP), and Annual Overhead and Reimbursable Maintenance Budget process.
