You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the SUSTAINMENT AVIATION READINESS & RESOURCE ANALYSIS DEPT/LOGISTICS PRODUCT DATA DIVISION/LOG CONFIG BRANCH
of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will perform work under general administrative direction with a wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgment.
You will demonstrate technical innovation and will require the ability to work with multiple and/or changing requirements that are complicated by such factors as security constraints, program directions, and/or the impact of shifting philosophies.
You will enhance the interaction with various management officials and technical disciplines, promoting a sound configuration package in conformance with all DoD and Navy specifications and standards.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band (DS-04=GS-11/12) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following:
Specialized experience:
1) Experience managing multiple concurrent Contract Data Management projects;
2) Experience communicating a project's strategic requirements and goals across all levels of the organization, including detailed Data Rights requirements, government regulations and industry standards;
3) Initiating and establishing all elements of Configuration Data Management from the ground up including contract coordination in support of Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) requirements;
4) Data Rights identification and management; Engineering Change Proposals (ECP); Contract Modifications and Modification implementation.
5) Experienced in a wide range of advanced special program related concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices.
6) Experience in special programs interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
