Duties
Provides Enterprise level technical support for Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Entra ID.
Advanced Tier 3 knowledge in supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Services, and Microsoft Azure Entra ID.
The ability to isolates, identifies, analyzes, and resolve hardware, software and/or communications problems impacting Active Directory and Microsoft Azure Entra ID.
Creates whitepapers, technical reports, technical evaluations, technical documentation, and summary reports of findings related to Active Directory, Windows Servers, and Microsoft 365 Services.
Current knowledge and ability to use PowerShell, PowerShell for Exchange, PowerShell for Active Directory, or PowerShell Exchange Online.
Develops technical projects and efforts, coordinates resources, and works jointly with others to complete enterprise efforts in support of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Services.
Provides expert Tier 3 enterprise-level guidance, analysis, and troubleshooting on a wide range of operational issues affecting enterprise IT services, ensuring effective support for Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Services.
Conducts in-depth research, documentation, and application of security configurations for Windows OS and applications, ensuring compliance to effectively enhance support for Active Directory, Windows Servers, and Microsoft 365 Services.
Participates in planning, designing, and evaluating feasibility studies and environmental tests for next-gen products, supporting or integrating with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Services for enterprise implementation.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFSOEC), your qualifications must include:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Extensive history Supporting, administering, and troubleshooting Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Services at an advanced tier 3 level.
The ability to isolate, identify, analyze and resolve hardware, software and/or communication problems as it relates to the support of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Services.
