About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Budget Analyst at the Training Support Brigade - S8 in Fort McCoy, WI.

Duties

Serve as Senior Budget Analyst in the Brigade. Plan, schedule, and coordinate the efforts of the Brigade budget, to produce a budget plan. Execute budget process for the organization and supported activities. Perform a wide range of administrative, technical, and analytical duties in the formulation, presentation, defense and execution of the budget.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Financial Management Level 2 Certification.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationBudget ExecutionFinancial Management AnalysisOral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????11).
