You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Comptroller's Office in the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Division, Audit Remediation Branch of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Duties
You will design, implement and assess internal control processes and testing procedures to solve a variety of accounting and/or auditing problems
You will analyze audit findings to determine appropriate remediation activities/efforts
You will schedule/lead corrective action plan execution across organizations to document necessary process changes
You will research and investigate new or improved business and financial management practices.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Designing, implementing and assessing internal control processes and testing procedures to solve a variety of accounting and/or auditing problems; 2) Analyzing audit findings to determine appropriate remediation activities/efforts; 3) Scheduling/leading corrective action plan execution across organizations to document necessary process changes; and 4) Researching and investigating new or improved business and financial management practices.
