You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.
Duties
You will utilize a mastery of budget execution principles and concepts to oversee reimbursable budgetary operations.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommends alternatives for corrective action.
You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and
financial management reports.
You will assign work to subordinates based on employee’s capabilities, priorities and difficulty and develop performance standards and evaluates employee performance.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS - 13 grade level in the Federal Service performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Supervising a team in complex and dynamic environments; 2) Designing, implementing and assessing internal control processes and testing procedures to solve a variety of accounting and/or auditing problems; 3) Analyzing audit findings and material weakness to determine appropriate remediation activities/efforts; 4) Researching and Investigating new or improved business and financial management practices to mitigate organizational risk and audit deficiencies.
