You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Operations Group (Code 1511), Ship Maintenance Performance Group Division (Code 1510), Naval Shipyard Support Office (Code 1500) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will serve as a Program Analyst for the Navy maintenance processes and associated IT requirements to support NAVESEA shipyard operations.
You will be responsible for business process re-engineering, IT requirements and interfaces, and systems integration across application environments.
You will develop, monitor, and execute contracts.
You will analyze data.
You will also support Headquarters.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience interfacing and utilizing IT applications such as Advanced Industrial Management (AIM), Advanced Industrial Management Express (AIMXp), Material Requirements (MRQT) and Project Scheduling and Sequencing (PSS).
Experience developing, modifying and reviewing formal standard operating procedures.
Experience providing detailed business analysis by analyzing data, creating and assembling various required presentations, reports, providing information on progress, innovations, and problems encountered.
Experience developing, monitoring, executing financial reports and cost benefit analysis.
Experience in project management, developing and oversight of contracts, contract lifecycle, contractor oversight, and budget.
