You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Strategic Transformation Division in the Transformation Office (Code 100TO) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates performing transformation improvement work. You will identify developmental and training needs and make provision for such developmental training. You will participate and conduct in long range intermediate, and emergent planning for the division's overall goals. You will represent the transformation office in high level conferences within and outside of the shipyard on matters of program planning, funding, resource, training, and policy.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with Shipyard operations, production and support processes; Experience with Shipyard structure, organizational requirements, and phases of the maintenance and repair of naval ships and components; Experience in Shipyard performance metrics; Experience in Shipyard or multi-departmental improvement initiatives or efforts; Experience working in and leading cross-functional/departmental teams to accomplish a set goal; Experience applying managerial skills and applying leadership principles.
